the Peninsula Neighborhood
The Peninsula Neighborhood is a project whose Masterplan schematic was designed by the Citizens of Iowa City, Iowa and Dover Kohl and Partners in a Public Participation Charrette -- and then put out to bid.
The Request for Proposals challenged developers to build what the citizens aspired to.
Ferrell Madden Associates is the Urban Designer for the successful development team Peninsula Development Company L.L.C. that has taken the schematic design through all the contingencies of engineering, real estate, and the market, to a built this new Iowa City Neighborhood.
Phase One sales are currently well underway (see the link below).
